Mr. TOB

Mr. Tob is our house blend, used daily in our café. It’s also the nickname of Young Jin CHA, the founder of Tob Coffee.

In 2014, Mr. Tob visited Trieste, Italy — the city known as the birthplace of the espresso machine and espresso culture. Inspired by his experience there, he created the Mr. Tob Blend, combining the rich, chocolatey flavors typical of Northern Italian espresso with the deep, full-bodied taste loved by New Zealanders.

Today, Mr. Tob is our most popular blend. It’s made from 100% Arabica coffee beans, carefully selected from Africa and Central America, and roasted dark to bring out its bold and balanced character.
